Deb relocated from Virginia to Boston after earning a BFA in design and rather than put it to immediate use, decided to form a band. A few years and a few MTV reality show background music nods later, she refocused her energy on advertising and has since created a broad range of work for clients like Carnival Cruise Lines, the Climate Reality Project, Ocean Spray, Cadillac, Product(RED), truth®, Progressive Insurance and Jack Daniel’s. She's also successfully pitched work for Palm, Showtime’s Dexter, American Eagle Outfitters and PUR.
To date, her work has been awarded by The One Show, ANDYs, ADDYs, Effies and written about on PSFK, Creativity Online, and Fast Co. Create. She has served as a judge for the Effie Awards, O’Toole Creative Awards, US International Film & Video Festival and been a reviewer at ADC’s Portfolio Night.
In her ever-infrequent spare time she enjoys honing her iPhonography skills and writing nameless songs with her husband on her factory second 1979 Gibson Firebird.
